the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Online Forschung (Study Group Online Research)


The mission and aim of the AGOF is to provide for transparency and practical standards in the range of internet and online media research independently from individual interests. The study group's purpose is to establish the new consistent currency for online media reach as basis for a powerful online media planning.

Media planning data for the online market

With its combined market and media study internet facts the AGOF has managed to deliver a rich body of data which does not only give information about the net reach of online media and its sub categories, the so called booking units, but also delivers global information about the internet users, a more and more attractive target group for advertising.

Due to the internet facts online advertsing can be planned according to comparable standards within the classical advertising. After the announcement of the first regular AGOF study in autumn 2005 the internet facts is quartely published and gives an account of a period of three months at a time.

The AGOF was founded in december 2002 from the leading online marketing companies. The association consists of all members of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Internet Research e.V. (AGIREV), client of the Online-Reichweiten-Monitors (ORM), and responsibles and licencees of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft @facts as well as further leading online marketers.
